Swimming lessons

We started swim lessons today. I'm so glad we have Dano. I'm not really sure how we would afford swim lesson's time 3 and Dano helps us out. Even though we didn't do Ben this Year we let him sleep. But hopefully next year we'll get him started on his.

Hailey did great, she remember what she had learned last year, but she picked up the new stuff Dano was showing her. I love this super smart girl. She is super good for swim lessons too. The only problem we have is when it's not her turn to have lessons she wants to play and I didn't have my suit on so I wasn't int the pool. So Dano couldn't give a lesson and watch a playing kids.

OK so not so much on Jacob boy. He cried the entire time, and clung on to Dano with his arms and legs and he wasn't letting go. She told him she wanted him to learn to swim so he would be safe, and she would never let anything happen to him. I even told him if he didn't let go and at least try he wasn't playing any Wii that day and he was like that's fine I don't want to play Wii. I felt so bad for him he was so scared. I told Danielle for him to give up his beloved Wii is a huge deal.

I'm hoping next week if I'm not sitting right there that maybe he would do better.

He loved sitting on the step playing in the water with the noodles. But actually getting in was too much for him. But I did remember that's how he acts at the beginning of each summer so I have high hopes for next summer.

Sam's 40th Birthday

My Friend Sam at work turned 40 today. To say the least she's not happy about it. She didn't want ta party. So Myrna and I took her out for Drinks. I had diet coke, and they had other things. =)

I think we were the only woman in the Place. There was this group of guys there drinking. We had a good time we laughed at the silly guys we laughed at each other. We really had a good time.

Daddy and Babby Shadow

my kids love stuffed Animals and Jacob has these 2 black doggies. My brother has a Black dog named Shadow. Jacob told me today this doggies name is Shadow, and I asked what's the other doggies name he said Shadow too. So he told me this is Daddy and Baby Shadow. He drives me crazy but Then we will have these moments like this where we will sit on the Kitchen floor and he will tell me this story about his dogs who loves and we will bond, and then it makes all the frustrating times a little less frustrating.

Ryan jokingly told Ben it was his turn to the dishes so he got a chair up there and got to work. I really wanted to post these because they were so stinking cute but because were still working on not going in our pants he had not pants I had to photo shop some fake pants on him.

Back to School & Ben's First Haircut

I gave the kids there back to school Haircuts. It was about the same as normal. Hailey sat and was a good girl and Jacob squirmed and whined and fought me. I felt bad. When I finished with the big kids Ben climbed up in the chair and Said "My turn" and I looked at Ryan as if to say what do I do? He really doesn't' have enough to cut but I didn't want to make him feel bad so Ryan suggest it I just give him a cut. So I took one of the bigger Guards and went all over his head.

He sat so still and and he was so proud. He kept telling Ryan "It's my turn" He never made a peep and he never wiggled and I didn't have to yell at him at all. Big Boy getting His first Haircut.


I'm not sure why he looks mad, because he wasn't he was so excited that he got a turn and he was excited to show off his new Haircut.

Puppy Surgey

I spent several hours tonight performing puppy surgery. Ben loves his puppy's so much he loves there arms off of them or there ears off of them. So they needed some repair work. This poor puppy is the worst. Is missing both his arms and has holes where his arms are. Now you would think we would just get rid of the puppy. No way we can't do that he is so attached to all of these puppies. So I went to work with my needle and thread.




This is what I ended up with. I couldn't find my stuffing to give him actual arms so the big kids laughed my work but Benners loved him and gave him a great big hug.





We have 2 green puppies ones missing an eye, ones missing an ear, one had a hole in it's neck, one had a hole in it's butt. So I sewed up all the wholes and sewed back on the missing ear.

That car's hot

Some time's I wonder where my kids here/get things. We were getting in the car at sprouts, and Hailey saw this little Red Sports Car and she said "That Car's Hot" I want one like that when I grow up.

Date night with my girl

Date night with my girl we volunteered at the church clothing drive we sorted clothes , then we had dinner at paradise bakery, next on to walmart to do her back to school shopping it's nice to have some one on one time.

Hay can blow a bubble

Hailey has been asking me to blow a bubble with her gum. Well I know how to blow a bubble and I told her the steps and I showed her but some how she still wasn't getting it and she was getting so frustrated. I felt bad because she kept asking me to help her, and I didn't know how to help her. As we were driving along today she all of sudden starts yelling "mommy, mommy look I did it." and at the next Red light she did it again and I snapped a picture to send to daddy. It's the small things in life. She was so proud of herself and I was so proud of her.

Scary Place

I drove part of the way home and then I switched with Ryan and took a nap while he drove the other part. I guess someone had to go potty because Ryan pulled off somewhere. When I opened up my eyes we at the scariest looking gas station. It was one of those that was a gas station and hotel and repair shop but most of it was out of order. It reminded me of a scene of a horror movie that you Check in but you never check out. I kept asking Ryan can we leave this place is creeping me out.

Slide Rock take 2

After we get the cabin picked up and the car packed up we had to go the kennel and pick up Bear where he had to stay for the weekend. We drive down to Sedona and pull off onto the slide rock turn off there is a long line of traffic, we wait our turn as we poke along. We finally get to the booth to pay. And she sees Bear and we had decided to leave the windows cracked with water and come back and check on him. Well nope. She sees him and gives us this 5 minute lecture on not leaving him in the car how if we do they will break our windows and take him out. I felt like I was 12 and my mom was giving me a talking to. Then we find out we can't take him down to the water either so our family outing is becoming hindered. So Ryan has the good Idea to make sandwiches out of what we have left of the food from the cabin. So we do and head down to trail. We get as far as Bear is allowed to go and Bear and I stay put and Ryan takes the kids down and Bear and I stay up top. Well not long after They come back, Ben hated the slides and was trying to climb Ryan's head. Jacob didn't want to get in the water he wanted to sit on the side, so it was making it very hard for them to do anything.

So at that point Ryan and I took turns one of us would sit up top with Bear and Ben and the other would take the Hailey and Jacob down to the Slides. And then we would switch. I didn't have any water shoes I only had my flip flops so I kept falling, one time I fell right on my tail bone wow did that hurt. ouch. Jacob Refused to do anything but sit on the side and play in the shallow water I was annoyed at first but then I figured who cars as long as he's having fun. at one point I fell and I lost my glasses and they went blib,blib,blib down the little falls and I never could catch them I was very sad.







I wouldn't go down any of the big ones because I'm a big chicken but Hailey and I went down the little ones. But Ryan and Hailey went down the big ones.



It was fun. It would have been nicer if we could have done it together as a family but at least we got to do it.





The building we sat outside was an old Apple packing shed. At one point I had to tie Bear up on the other end because he kept trying to eat the kids lunch's and people kept thinking someone had tied him up and left him and gone down to the falls. So I had to keep explaining that he was a food whore, not abandoned. Just as Ryan and the kids came up for the last time it started to rain so we got in the shed until it passed. Perfect timing.
