Amanda Gets Married

The hygienist at my office and my friend Amanda got married this weekend. Ryan and I do not agree on this but I LOVE weddings. I love the wedding part, two people joining together, I love receptions the hanging out with friends, dancing all of it.

They did the funnest thing they had a photo booth that you went in and took pictures and they cute some out and and you signed them, it was so cool and fun.

I was so happy for Amanda and Derek they looked so happy. We danced the night away Ryan made us laugh our butts off. and We had so much fun.

I must be stupid

I must have stupid across my forehead, the guy shows up at my door telling me that there opening a new office so there giving away one free room of carpet cleaning that I can't pay them or tip them. I think sounds great. Instead I end up with the guy here for 2 hours trying to sell my a $3000 vacuum. I guess I at least got the carpet cleaned but for listening to him for 2 hours he could have cleaned the whole room not just done a half way job.

Gizzards

When I was a kid, mom use to cook the heart and gizzards for extra broth and we would fight over who got to eat it them it was a treat. But when I started my own family no one else liked them so i got them all to myself.
I got Hailey to taste Chicken Heart and Chicken Gizzard with me tonight and she liked it. And she felt very brave and proud!! I asked her if she wanted to try it but I couldn't remember what a gizzard did so she tried it then when she went and googled it and came back told me what a gizzard does, Hailey was king of grossed out by it. So I said but It still tasted good. and she said yes. and I asked her would you have tried it if you had known what it was, and she said no. I kind of had to laugh at her.

Mommy Daughter date.

No school no school I love when the kids, & hubs are home we went to see the Narnia movie this morning as a family it was a little intense for my kids, then Hay and I are had a mommy Hailey date doing some shopping we went to Hays favorite Claire's and Hailey bought her self this hair piece, then were went to see secretariat at the dollar theater. It was so good I loved it. Good day!!

Nose update.

This post is gross about my nose surgery so don't read it if you gross out easily.

I Went to the Dr today she looked up my nose and said it was healing up great, she painfully extracted a huge thing out of my nose and every time she cleans out my nose it makes my throat hurt! I still don't understand why that is but it does. But I feel a lot better today! I think I am finally on the mend!
In the beginning She told me she wasn't going to put splints in my nose if she didn't have to because my healing would less painful if she didn't have to put them in. But it has been so painful I can't imagine it being much worse. Now I know this is TMI but the yucky thing was the HUGE yucky hard gob of stuff that I haven't been able to blow out myself Ben was sitting in my lap and the entire time and he didn't like it at all he started to cry and get upset so she was try to work on me and comfort him at the same time. It was the most painful thing and she asked if i wanted her to stop and i did because it hurt so bad but i want it out of my nose. Once she got it out i felt normal for once in weeks but by the end of the night I had a migraine. Ryan was mad I didn't take a picture for him.

Nose update

Feeling pretty good today especially considering the baby and Ryan both hit me in the nose last night. Ryan hit me accidentally while he was sleeping. and Ben hit me trying to hand me the phone while we were laying in bed. Now if my teeth would just stop aching I'd be in the home stretch.

Teeth/Nose

I expected my nose to hurt which it does a little bit but It amazes me how much my teeth hurt. It feels likes someone punched my right in the teeth. She did worn me that they would but i didn't know they would hurt like this. And I can't believe it still hurts this many days out.

Nose Surgery

we got up and took the kids to our friends the Webbs down the street who were sweet enough to keep the kids for us while I had my surgery. I had mixed emotions I wanted to have the surgery so I could start to feel better and not be sick all the time, but I really didn't want to be put under and I really didn't to have surgery. So to make it worse when we got there they were running behind so were sat there for ever, and when they wheeled me into the surgery room I did what I usually do I started to cry.

The surgery went well she fixed my septum, roto rootter my turbinates,debritated my sinus, while she was in there she also found there was a on sinus that she had to remove. And luckily she didn't have to pack my nose with gauze I just have a gauze mustache. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. Probably won't be posting much or having much going on in the next couple of weeks just trying to heal up. Hopefully me kids and husband will survive without me.

Sleeping

A couple of weeks ago I took this picture of Jacob asleep in our bed while Ryan was gone. Well Jacob saw it on my phone and it annoyed him that i took a picture of him while he was sleeping. I never know what's going to tick him off. So this morning as soon as he got up he got my phone and he took pictures of me. I only posted this one but he took like 45 pictures of me sleeping.

Dates

This was a day of dates Hailey and Ben and I went to the Mall and did Some shopping and played at the play place, rode the little train, and then met my mom and Her and Hailey went to the movies. She got to go spend the night at grandma and Pappies. That was a special treat for her. She loves to go on sleep overs and there aren't a lot of places we will let her go so when grandma asked if she wanted to she jumped at the chance.

Skyline Ward Adult Italian Dinner

The Activities Committee put on an adult Italian dinner. I was suppose to help but I could never go to the meetings for this reason or that. So ended up being in charge of the music and the table clothes. And I had to work the day of the activity so I couldn't help set up so I rode along with Tiffany McGee to go get the food and then we took it back to the church to set it up. But we never could make the music play through the church's sound system. and when I went to go home to get Ryan I realized my purse was in Tiffany's car with my phone and car key's so luckily Courtney let me use her and Ryan went and got the sitter and came up to the church he tried to help me figure out the speaker system but him and brother Wright couldn't figure it out. So we ran home and got my speaker for my IPhone and used that it wasn't the best, but it was all we had.

Not being a very active part of the committee had it's perks. I got to sit and enjoy myself for the most part. I got up a few times to help check and see if food needed refilled. but other then that we just sat and hung out with our Friends. Bonnie & Rob Milius, Carrie & Ron Evangelesta, and Jennifer & Ryan Johnson

We had a really good time, we don't get to have a date much so having a whole date night to ourselves was great.

something wrong with me

There is something wrong with me. I just spent the last 30 minutes dividing the candy into 2 bowls one for trick or treaters and one for the church trunk or treat. But instead of just dumping half of each bag in I dumped each bag out and made sure each bowl had the same amount of snickers and the same amount of nerds and so forth. What's wrong with me.

Time out for Women

I've always wanted to go to Time out for Women but I didn't want to go by myself so I put a shoot out on Face book to see if anyone else was going. My friend Bonnie said she wanted to go and that our other friend Carrie E. had mentioned wanting to go so it was decided we would go together. Yeah

So I went on line and bought my ticket, silly me I assumed we were only going on Saturday so that's what I bought my ticket for. So When Carrie asked If I wanted to drive Friday or Saturday I felt kind of Silly and had to tell them I had only bought tickets for Saturday. They laughed at me and then went to Friday's with out me. They picked me up SUPER early on Saturdays morning and we rode up together. It was nice to have a girls day out. I really enjoyed the speakers, most of them were a combination of comedy with spiritual messages. It was really nice.
one of the women that spoke today her message was both heart breaking and up lifting at the same time, hearing what her and her family, and the people in her country went through it made you so sad for them, and so thankful for what you have.

Gateway Dentalcare Pictures

I went today and had our office Christmas picture taken. We met at a park, a few people got lost a few people were late but it all worked out in the end.


After that we Myrna, Sam and I went out for drink well they had drinks and I had a soda. We visited, I love these girls I never get to spend time with them so it was nice to get to spend a little time with them but I had to cut it short and go home to my boy who was still not in the the best shape from his surgery and I promised Ryan Chipotle if he took care of the kids so I could go out with the girls.

Eating Gluten

I'm so mad at myself right now. I have spent the last 6 months reading every label before I eat. Well my stupid sweet tooth got the better of me popped a new butterfingers snackers in my mouth and think hum that taste different, so pop another one in my mouth and then look at the ingredients, second ingredient "wheat flour" so now I will be sick for the next 4 days for 2 little pieces of candy. "I hate you gluten"

shoulder

So the Dr says I have Bursitis in my shoulder which is inflammation of the lining in my shoulder that is causing the pain when I move/ use my shoulder. Gave me a cortisone shot which hurt like bad words I don't say. He said sorry that seemed like it really hurt and I said it did. As i was comforting Ben telling him mommies OK as I was crying in pain. The Dr. said that's a good thing because if it hurt that much that means I most likely got the cortisone in the right spot and we won't have to do it again, I told him that's a good thing you got it in the right spot because your not doing that again. And he's sending me to have physical therapy. Hopefully with that we can avoid surgery.

Nere Test

I don't know how many of you have had a nerve test done but I'll explain it to you a little. It's horrible. I think it might actually be torture. The sweet little nurse takes a shock wand and shocks you in all these places from my finger tips to shoulder. It was annoying mostly but when she shocked my collar bone and my arm pit that was actually painful and I jumped. It was interesting to see my arm jumping around in weird directions not of my control. But then the Dr. came in and he stuck these little needles in and sent electricity through my arm. We he did that to the lower part of my arm it was painful but when he did it to my shoulder I actually started to cry it hurt so much. I felt kind of bad for the Dr. because he was trying to talk to me. And I was crying and he kept saying are you OK? and I was like yeah. I know he felt bad that he caused me pain and then had to tell me there was nothing wrong with it nerve wise. And then I went to leave and I thought I had composed myself and the nurses were all like oh no are you OK? and I was like yeah I'm fine that just really hurt my Shoulder.
Well isn't that fantastic, and now my arm & shoulder are killing me from being poked and shocked grrrrrrrr!!!!!
