He did a pretty good job. We had a few fits and a little pouting but he did a pretty good job of participating and playing.

Jacob's last Soccer Game.
Jacob had his last game today. I know it's horrible but I'm always so glad when sports are over and we don't have to be at the field early in the morning.

Jacob's End of Season.
Today was Jacob's end of the season party. They had a pizza party for the kids at the soccer practice. Pizza is Jacob's favorite thing so it was a big hit. Some of the parents pitched in and got the coach a gift card. He was so good with the kids. So patient and good with them. Jacob gets really attached really quick so when I told him this was our last week for soccer he got really sad and started telling me how much he was going to miss his coach. But then he was saying how he brings his son out on the green belt and they play soccer, or golf and invited the kids to join them on day. Well Jacob takes that as tomorrow and talked about it all the way home. And when we got home he told Ryan were going to go play golf with my coach.

Team Pictures
I was so annoyed. Jacob can't play soccer today because of the surgery but I still had to get everyone up at early 30 and him all dressed up in his soccer clothes and to the soccer Field 30 minuter early because they were taking team pictures today. So I grumble and complained but I did it but I was even more mad when I found out because there were so many kids missing this week they decided to do everyone else's pictures next week. Uggggghhhh I could have slapped someone.
Since we were already there I asked Jacob if he wanted to stay and watch his team mates or go home he said stay and watch the game so I l left them boys on the field with Tim & Renee from next door and ran up to the car and got our chairs, hauled them down, sat them up got the boys situated, we literally had watched 5 minutes of the game and Jacob said I changed my mind I want to go home. again I could have slapped someone. I wanted to go home from the beginning but instead I had lugged the chairs down so I made him stay since that was the choice he made. But at half time we were all board stiff it's not as much fun when your own kids isn't playing. We went home. But I figured that was enough time to teach him a leasson of if you say something you have to stick with it.

Jacob's 1st Soccer
Jacob had his first soccer game I thought he did pretty good.

he wasn't the fastest but he wasn't the slowest.
He tended to hang bag and see what the ball was going to do before trying to go for it instead of charging for it like everyone else. He also ran up and down the field and participated unlike another person in our family that at his age when she was his age stood on the field and cried because she didn't want to play. But I won't name names and embarrass her.

He kicked the ball a few times and almost got it to the goal.

But the other team had this HUGE girl on their team I swear she was like 18 and she scored like 20 goals and she was much faster then our little kids. The kids kept saying she's just so fast or she's so big. Well after the game we were talking to one of the sister's on our ward that has kids on that team and come to find out that girl is actually 6 and the rest of our kids our 4-5. Well our couch is one of the guys that put the whole thing together so he was going to make sure she got on the right team because it wasn't fair to the little kids to spend all year getting totally whipped by her but it's also not fair to her it would give her an unfair expectation of her skills. Next year when she got in her right age group she wouldn't understand why she wasn't doing as well. So we'll see how we do next week when we play against children our own size.
