Cows/Ranch

As I have mentioned before my family has a big ranch in Northern New Mexico it's about an hour and a half from Raton where my parents other house is. So after the library we headed that way. Mom and dad were nice enough to take there travel trailer out there for me and the kids so we had a little more room and we didn't have to over run Aunt Sissy's house.


These were some baby cows in the road that the kids wanted me to get pictures of.

When we got there Aunt Sissy wasn't home from work and Uncle Ted was doing chores so i got the car unpacked into the trailer. The kids were playing in the dirt in the yard and when I came back out to get another load Ben was gone. I asked Jacob where's Ben? he said I don't know. I got a little worried and called for him and he came running back towards the house with his hands all clenched up and this look of horror on his face. I said "what's wrong", and he said "carry" that's his word for Scary, I said "what's scary" and he said "Kiggy Scary". My aunt and uncle have 2 pigs. Ken and May Bacon. and when I say they have pigs I don't mean that cute little pink pig from Babe I mean they have huge hogs that could eat you alive. It scarred Ben to death. For Days after word if I said anything about Piggy's he'd say "Kiggy's scary" But he learned his lesson. He didn't wander away from the house by himself again. He stayed with Bubbi and Sissy.

Raton Library

I can remember going to the Raton library when I was a kid, and we would go see grandma and grandpa. They have spiced it up and the kids got to do a craft and hear a story and got little rings.

I'm a Kawboy

This baby is so stinking cute, I wish I would have taken video of him telling me "Mommy I'm a kawboy" I just want to eat him. I'm sure he'll hate these pictures of himself in his cowboy get up and his big boy underwear.

We LOVE New Mexico

The kids and I love going to New Mexico. We love spending the time with my folks, and they have a huge yard for them to ride there Gator around in, dig in the dirt, and run wild.

They wanted to take there guns with them, so they could play cowboy.

Grandma Nona.

We went to Trinadad Colorado today to visit my Grandma Nona. I love my grandma Nona so much and the kids adore her, and she adores them. She thinks there funny. We went to lunch and then headed over to Big R to see about deals on jeans.

The kids love these horses made out of tires. They wanted me to take a picture and send it to Pappy and tell him they NEEDED them. They were running around a little crazy and driving my crazy, but Grandma just giggled at them. When we went to Walmart to get a few things Ben started to turn on me cause he hadn't had a nap, so he started throwing his hat on the ground, kicking his boots off, and screaming at me, he was driving me crazy and grandma just thought he was so cute and funny.

Back in the spring Grandma moved out of the nursing home and into the Assisted Living home, which she loves and the kids and I thought was great. It's new so it's so much nicer looking, when we walked in the kids were ooohhing and awwwing and saying oh look at that, look at that. and it's really nice she has her own little apartment with a nice big living quarter, and her own bathroom she doesn't have to share and 2 big closets. She even has a little kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and sink, if she doesn't want to go to the dining room she can just make herself something little.

This is a horrible picture of me. But it's the only one of me and grandma. I am so happy for her that she has this new place that is her own and she doesn't have to share a room or a bathroom. The kids fight with me if I remind them she's my grandma Nona. They say NO she's my grandma Nona. At one point Hailey and I were play fighting and Jacob said "Guys, Guys don't fight we can share her and she can be all of ours grandma"

all camouflage hats Jacob calls pappy hats. He had one but it got lost on a boat trip and he was very sad. But Grandma bought him one today at Big R. He wanted me to take a picture of him and Pappy in their pappy hats, but he informed Pappy he needed a blue shirt like he had.

Off to New Mexico

We left for New Mexico. I was up and packing at 6:00am after having 4 hours of sleep. But I realized last night had never picked up my prescription. So I had to wait for the pharmacy to open. So after getting the kids and dog loaded up, getting my prescription, going back to the house twice for stuff we forgot, and stopping to say one last goodbye to daddy. We finally got out of there at like 10:30-11:00am. It was so frustrating. and then I had to stop like 4 times in the first hour to let people go potty and change the movie and this and that. I was so annoyed and ready to go home and we hadn't even left Phoenix yet.

We stopped and went potty and got lunch and ate in the car to try to make up some time.

For dinner we decided to have Snacks so we could keep going, so I gassed up, we went potty and we had Beef jerky and chips, and bananas. Everyone had been so good I decided to reward us with ice cream. So I thought we would stop in Santa Fe which was the next town, well that was a mistake by the time I found the ice cream, got the ice cream, got back on the road, got lost and found the freeway again it was like 45 minutes. That totally through my time off.

We finally got to New Mexico about 11 or so. The big kids were already asleep but Ben was still up and rareing to go. Dad helped me unpack the kids and the car. After only 4 hours of sleep, 13 hours in the car with kids by myself I was so exhausted. So I eventually took Ben to bed with me and checked my email as Benners climbed all over me. So I closed my laptop turned the light off and layed down. Ben said "I'm scared" I'd tell him your fine. Then he started
"Where's Bubbi?"
"Bubbi's Night night"
"Where's Sissy?"
"Sissy's Night Night"
"Where's Gaga?"
"Gaga's night night"
"but I need Gaga"
"where's Pappy"
"Pappy's night night"
"but I need Pappy"
so at this point I was at me witts end and barked at him and said "well pappy doesn't need you right now go to sleep"
at this point I think it was 1am and I fell asleep. I'm not sure exactly when he did but I crashed.
Oh and by the way today is my Dad's birthday "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!"

Happy Birthday Ryan.

Today is my hunny's birthday. I try to do something fun as a family for the kids to help celebrate with daddy. So we went to Olive garden for lunch with Ryan's sisters and dad, and then we went to a Family movie.

I love this family of mine. They are so cute.




My sister was nice enough to volunteer to keep our kids so we could have an adult night out. Ryan wanted to go to PF Chang's. so Ryan's dad and sisters met us again for dinner. They were all to busy to go to the movies with us, but that was OK because Ryan and I enjoyed the chance to go to the movies just me a and him.

Target Ball

My kids are obsessed with the Target Balls. They are allways wanting to climb on them and for me to take there pictures on Them. Nutt jobs.

Ben's first Dental visit.

Ben had his first dental appointment today. I have been so worried about it I just knew he was going to freak out and have a fit. But my friend Sam who he's familiar with took him back to the chair.


He loves the big fake tooth brushes so I got him one of those to hold and between that and Wendy's cool dude classes and getting to watch shows on the Tv he did fine. I was so proud of him he did such a good job. what a big boy he is now.

Early Father's Day

Like our lives weren't crazy enough, we had an early Father's day/Birthday dinner. Mom and dad are leaving for New Mexico for the Summer so dad won't be here for Father's Day or his birthday. So after sacrament mom and I rushed home and made a yummy meal for the guys.

We gave dad his father's day and Birthday presents and they gave Ryan his. After a whirlwind of emotions and go go go this weekend this was a nice winding down.

Girls and Jim head home

This is the last of our super busy weekend. Jim and the girls both flew home today. I took Jacob and Hailey to Mom's Hailey went with mom to Valerie's Vacation bible school presentation, My dad was nice enough to keep Jacob with him at the house so I just had Benners with me to get the girls on the Plane.

While we waited on the plane the girls took Ben on the moving sidewalk over and over again. He thought it was great. It's always really hard for me to let them go home. I get to spend such little time with them, and I'm very selfish and want to keep them with me.

Benners was not happy when they got on the "fly" as he calls airplanes. But he sat there and waived Bye Bye until the plane pulled out of sight. We will miss them very much.

By the time we got back to mom and dad's house, Dad and Jacob had taken Jim to the airport to catch his flight too. Then I ran home mom helped me get everyone ready for church and a quick lunch and then we ran to church. Is so great watching Hailey be presented to the ward, and when the girls sang their song again I felt kind of bad for the other moms because Hailey was so close to the Microphone she was the only one you could hear. But she sounded great.
